Kai Trump was gifted a special edition of the Cybertruck by her grandfather, Donald Trump, last year, but it appears she has now ditched the electric vehicle
Kai Trump seems to have traded in the Tesla Cybertruck she initially got from Donald Trump following the high-profile rift between the president and Elon Musk.
The teenager and sports influencer recently shared a series of photos on Instagram, marking the first day of her senior year as she gears up for the University of Miami next fall. The post features Kai with her pals, flashing “The U” hand sign, which came after she suffered a rough loss in a basketball challenge to her brother Tristan.
Kai was photographed standing next to a Cadillac Escalade, which appears to be her new ride of choice. Her grandfather had previously given her a special edition Cybertruck last year, with Kai showing off the “Cyberbeast” across her social platforms.
She even shared footage of herself driving the vehicle in a race back in March 2025.
But it looks like she’s now moved on from the Cybertruck. Since Kai Trump’s Cybertruck was a custom model, the exact price tag of her particular vehicle remains unclear.
Cybertruck prices fluctuate based on trim levels and features. The top-tier Cybertruck can run over $100,000, suggesting Kai Trump’s personal vehicle likely carried a price tag well above that figure.
It’s clear that Kai Trump is making the most of her final senior year in high school as she gears up for the University of Miami. Interestingly, Kai will be joining the Hurricanes’ golf team, aligning perfectly with her college plans alongside Donald.
Despite their contrasting lifestyles, both Trumps have managed to forge a bond over their shared love for golf. Recently, Donald expressed his desire for Kai to attend the University of Miami, a decision influenced by their close relationship and “special bond.
“Me and him are very close, and we bond over golf,” she told FOX News Digital.
“So, he influenced me a lot with golf, especially when I was talking about schools and colleges. He loved that I was going to Miami because Trump Doral was right there as well, so he’s influenced me a lot with golf.”
Moreover, Kai opened up about how Tiger Woods, who is currently dating her mother, has had an impact on her and shaped her golf journey.
Speaking to the American Jr. Golf Association after a recent tournament, Kai shed light on the golf icon’s influence.
“I would say a lot of the pros, obviously, like looking up to them and watching them,” Trump started. “Obviously, Tiger [Woods], Rory [McIlroy]. Like watching those guys, especially at such a young age, and now I get to know them.
“It has been really cool, and that obviously kind of influenced me. But also, I’d say like my mom, I wouldn’t be playing golf without her.”
