An eight-year-old girl was horrifically murdered and had her eyes gouged out in a chilling “sacrifice” believed to aid a pregnant woman’s childbirth.
The young girl’s brutally mutilated body was discovered on Monday, August 9, leading to the swift arrest of four suspects thought to be involved in her abduction and murder.
One suspect, identified as Dilip Kumar, reportedly sought the advice of Pervez Alam, who claims to be a “sorcerer”, after he and his wife conceived following several years of unsuccessful pregnancies. It comes after an evil dad’s incest secret was hidden in a family photo before all seven were killed in a massacre.
Alam allegedly advised the couple that to prevent a miscarriage, the pregnant woman should wear an amulet consecrated with the blood and eyes of a virgin girl.
Alongside two men, Tanveer Alam and another individual known only as Dasarath, they kidnapped the young girl from a small village in the Munger district of Bihar, India. The innocent eight year old was returning home alone after delivering lunch to her father, a local fisherman at work, reports the Mirror.
The girl was then taken to the men’s chicken farm in Padham village, where it is alleged they performed rituals on her before she was murdered and her eyes removed. These were then crafted into a necklace and given to the expectant woman.
According to the Times of India, authorities registered the case as a murder and suspected rape after discovering specific injuries on the girl.
Police Superintendent J. J. Reddy said: “Dilip’s wife had conceived after many unsuccessful years of pregnancy. Hence, he acted on the suggestion of the Tantrik from neighbouring Khagaria district, which led to the gruesome killing of the minor girl.
“The police cracked the case based on evidence. Instructions have been issued to submit the charge sheet in the case at the earliest.”
Local authorities believe that, with the evidence they discovered and gathered at the scene, the suspects will face a rapid trial very soon.
The news emerges as a mother of two in America attempted to kill her two small children in an alleged effort to ‘sacrifice her son’.
Ashley Parmeley, 36, of Festus, Missouri, was initially charged with second-degree murder after she entered the Festus Police Department on May 28 last year, informing police she had killed both her children earlier that day.
Parmeley first attempted to kill her 2 year old son, Isaac, in St Francois County, Missouri and then shot her nine year old daughter.
She later allegedly discovered her son Isaac was still alive and drove north to the Timber Creek Resort, where she is said to have drowned him in a water fountain. Parmeley reportedly told investigators that she planned to “sacrifice” Isaac before she killed both children, though the statement did not clarify what Parmeley meant by sacrificing her child.
